So this was our 2nd engagement session at UF this month. The challenge with shooting at the same places again is providing something a little different than the others. As you can see, some images are similar to the previous session (due to architecture), but several are different.

Now with these, I decided to have them stand on the number of their wedding date. Doing this instead of using a random number, gave more meaning to the couple.

Birthdays

These two children are celebrating their birthdays this month. Obviously they are a couple years apart. The most challenging thing about photographing children is that they have short attention spans. We thought it would be best to do a shoot on a local beach. This way we can capture some images of them enjoying the beach and eachother..

Tori and John at UF

This was our first ever shoot on the UF campus. Tori and John both attended UF and will be getting married there over the summer. So we figured, why not do a shoot on campus. What a great idea!!! Talk about a photographers dream. There are so many places you can choose to do the pictures at, but we decided to stick to the better known areas of the O'Connell Center and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. It helps that both are open to the public :)

I know.. its been awhile since I posted. I honestly am trying to update this blog every few days, but as soon as I think about it, something comes up...

So here we go... These are from a family session at a park in our town. Being located in a small county, such as Citrus, it difficult to find locations that I have not used too much. This is a small little park in Inverness. I have not shot there before, but will have to do so again. There are plenty of areas that can be used to give different looks each time.

Here are a few images..

Mary and Arthur's Wedding Sneak Peak

Here is a sneak preview of Mary and Arthur's wedding on May 1, 2008. Its not too often we get the opportunity to shoot a mid-week wedding, but I am glad we got to shoot this one. It was an outdoor wedding on the beach in Pine Island. I have not been to this particular beach, but you better believe that I will be back for a session or two. It was awesome.

Here are a few from the wedding. If you have been following our blog postings, you will notice that we are trying something new with using textures on the images. Let us know what you think!! Thank you Mary and Arthur for allowing us to photograph your wedding. It was a blast!!
