Jessica and Jason

We had the privilege of shooting Jessica and Jason's wedding on Saturday. It took place at the Greek Orthodox Church in Lecanto. We had never shot at this church before, so we werent sure what to expect. We were not disappointed. The place was awesome. Jason is a HUGE Georgia fan. Coincidently the colors were red and black (well maybe it wasnt such a coincident).. Enjoy a few of our favorites from their wedding.

Jennifer and Jason 9.26.08

Jennifer and Jason got married last night at St Scholastica Catholic Church. It was a unique ceremony as both have pretty much grown up in that church. As you can imagine, most couples do not get married in the church they grew up in. Here are a few images from the wedding.

I decided to do something a little different in the processing of these next two shots. I really like the effect, but I realize that it isnt for everyone. (Thats why we keep the originals :) )

Jason and his mom lighting up the dance floor!!

Cant be a proper post without a ring shot.. I figured they had an Italian theme reception, so I would incorporate that into how I shot the rings.

The last shot of the night. I had visualized this shot from the moment they told me where they were having the reception. Thanks Jennifer for being a sport and going into the dark "forest" :)

Let us know what you think...

Off to another wedding today. Check back tomorrow for some shots from that wedding

Leslie and Chris

You might recognize Leslie and Chris from their engagement session that I posted earlier this week. They had a wonderful wedding on this past Saturday. It did rain a little, but that didnt stop these two.. By the way.. I hear its good luck if it rains on your wedding day. Here are a few from their wedding. One day I will learn to post them in order.. Until then, no particular order :)

We love ring shots!!!

They played a game to see who controls the remote control for the TV for the first month of their marriage. The goal was to unravel their roll the first. Chris lost!!

Awesome shot of Leslie and her dad..

Chris and Leslie

Chris and Leslie are getting married this weekend, so we shot their engagement session on Monday. This was a unique engagement session as they both wanted their kids involved in the shoot. As with most kids their age, they were more interested in running around and playing than in taking a few pictures. But they did cooperate for a little bit and allowed us to capture some awesome shots. Here there are in no particular order.. Enjoy!!

I thought it would be cool to do some silhouette stuff with the entire family.

Thanks guys for an awesome session.. Cant wait to do your wedding this weekend

Renee and Jim

We had the opportunity to photograph Renee and Jim's wedding at St Augustine Catholic Church in Gainesville. It was a beautiful ceremony and an awesome reception (more on that later). Large churches have their challenges when photographing inside them.. This time, the challenge was walking what felt like a half mile from the back to the front to get some shots during the ceremony. Not only did I do this once, but I did it like 10 times. I guess I need to start running again.. :)

Anyway... on to the images.... Enjoy

I love this next shot.. It is almost like I caught him doing something he shouldn't have been doing.

One of my favorite ring shots.

The reception was at the Thomas Center in Gainesville. This is the first time I have been there. This place was AMAZING!!! The only complaint I have, was that I didn't have as much time as I wanted do more shots due to a longer than expected ceremony.. Oh and it was a little hot.. All is good though. We had a blast.

This shot is awesome. The inside of the Thomas Center had a second floor all the way around. The cake was placed just below the railing on the far side. Valerie took a few shots from above for the cake cutting. It brings a unique angle that we don't get to do very often.

I want to apologize for posting this later than I said I would. I decided to change the look of the blog and wanted this to be the first post in the new format. Let us know what you think.
