Jessica: Model Concept Shoot: Trash Bags: Studio

Jessica came to the studio the other day to do a concept session with us. We wanted to expand on the Engagement Session we did a few weeks ago with the trash bags and make it into a model session. As you can tell, we are all about doing things different. We have a few more concepts up our sleeve, so stay tuned! In the meantime, enjoy the images from Jessica's session.

Jessica - Model Portfolio - Central Florida

Jessica recently joined us at a local park for some model portfolio shots. The weather has been pretty bad recently with a ton of rain, but the rain held off for her session and we were able to get it in. Ideally we would do this type of session with plenty of sun, but since we cant control the weather, we have to go with what we are given. She did an awesome job despite the elements and we were able to get some awesome shots.

Tara's Model Session: Firefighter - Athens Area Georgia

We were recently on vacation for July 4th in the Athens area of Georgia. Since it was a different area than we typically shoot here in Florida, we decided that it would be fun to do a shoot with a model while we were up there. We scoured facebook and a couple of model networking sites and found Tara, who was more than willing to help us out.

Since we have a lot of outdoor locations in Florida to shoot at, we wanted to do something a bit different. Our brother in law happens to be a firefighter and offered up the use of the volunteer station while he was there one day. We proposed the idea to Tara and she was all for it. How often do you get the opportunity to do pictures at a fire station and have access to all the equipment and gear that is there. It was an awesome shoot and Tara rocked it. Here are some of the images.

Model Portfolio Session - Haleigh - Central Florida

We have a few models that we regularly do portfolio work for. Haleigh is one of those models . For this particular session, we decided to just meet up at the studio and start shooting. Nothing was really planned and we just went with what ideas we came up with. This is the end result. Who said lace can create some awesome pictures? Haleigh once again rocked it and we cant wait to work on our next project with her.

Opposite Series

Those that follow our work and those that know me, know that I love to do things that are different. Today, we see tons of photographers starting businesses and throwing up facebook pages to promote their work. There is nothing wrong with this of course, but browse through the work and you will see that it looks the same. I strive to create something that is unique and different. So a few months ago, I decided I wanted to put together a personal project using a few models in the area. I have no real idea on how I want to use the images, but I know I want to show something that is different and outside the box. The idea I had was to come up with a set of opposites, have a makeup artist transform the girls into that opposite, and then shoot them individually as well as with their opposite. I am still unsure of what I want the final layout to be when its displayed at the studio.
