Erica and John's Wedding

This was a very fun wedding to attend and photograph. Erica and John were a blast to work with. The wedding took place at a small local church and the reception was literally a few blocks down the road. Couldnt ask for anything much easier than that... not to mention the fact that it was local!!!! We do not get too many local weddings, so it was great to not have to drive for hours..

Back to the wedding.... I think this was the one and only time we have been to a reception and they watched tv more than they danced... Strange you say?? Not if you are huge University of Floria fans and were hoping that Tim Tebow would win the heisman trophy award. Now, with us being Florida State fans, we didnt care too much who won, but I digress :)

Here is a slideshow that we put together. It is not quite complete yet, but we will update it once it is. In the mean time... ENJOY!!!

First Trash the Dress Session!!!

We recently finished our first Trash the Dress shoot. It was a blast. Hopefully we will be able to do several more of these sessions in the future. The hardest part of doing this is finding someone who is willing to "trash" their dress. Special thanks for a former bride of ours, Sara, for volunteering to do this session. Here are a few of the images.

Jenna and Mike, November 10, 2007

This wedding was one of the few local weddings we photographed this year. It was done in the Groom's parents back yard on the Rainbow River. It was a beautiful place to hold a wedding ceremony. The only bad thing about it was there were several flights of steps you had to take to get down to the river. It definitely made it a unique wedding.

Rachel and Chris, November 3, 2007

This wedding took place in the beautiful city of Lakeland. I went to college there (Florida Southern for those wondering) and love to go back any chance I get. This wedding took place on Lake Mir on a perfect November afternoon.

Sandra and Drew October 27, 2007

We photographed the wedding of their friends Mike and Autumn earlier this month. This wedding took place in the Hollywood area at the Signature Grand. As the name sounds, it was a very nice wedding and reception. Take a look at a few of the images below and let us know what you think.

Its been awhile

I just noticed that I have not updated this blog in awhile. Things have been pretty busy here lately, so I have not had a chance to work on the things I need to update, this being one. So here I am, updating with a few pictures from recent events.

This first event was for a sweet 16 party. These two girls are best of friends and wanted to do a shoot together before the party. Here are a few of the images.

Autumn and Mike 10.06.07

This wedding is the first for us in October and it had that autumn feel. The theme was autumn (ironically the bride's name is also Autumn) so there were plenty of colored leaves and trees at the reception. The wedding took place at a large Catholic church in Jacksonville. The aisle that Autumn walked down was about 200 feet from the alter area. That is a loooong way to walk in a heavy dress, but things went great. It was a fun wedding that helped me to create fun images. Here are a few.

Kim and Regan September 2nd

This wedding was a blast. Kim and Regan were fun and very easy to work with.... our type of clients. The wedding took place at a beautiful golf course in Central Florida. Mix that with beautiful weather, an awesome couple and loving friends and family and you have the perfect wedding. Here are a few samples. Let us know what you think. More to come later. ENJOY!!!

Katie and Brian August 11th

This wedding took place at on of our favorite places for a wedding.... the Church on the Square in the Villages. The church is beautiful and helps us create beautiful images. It helps to have a couple like Katie and Brian, who are young, energetic and very photogenic. It was a blast to work with them. The images are not completely finished yet, but here are a few teaser pictures.

Steve and Crystal Engagement

What a lovely couple. He has been a friend of our family for several years. We did the session at a local park that we have never shot at before. We were not sure what to expect at first, but the park was a great place for the engagement session. We will definitely be doing more sessions at the park in the future. It was a pleasure doing their engagement session and we look forward toward doing their wedding reception later this year.

Robin and Derek August 5th

This wedding was held at Golden Ocala. If you have not been there, you need to go. The place is absolutely gorgeous.. It is a beautiful place to have a wedding. The cake is one of our favorites, and we have seen many cakes. It was made by their in house chef, so if you are planning on having a wedding there, you will get an awesome cake. Here are a few pictures.

Joanna and Jay 8/4/07

This was a beautiful outdoor wedding. The ceremony took place around sunset, which made for excellent lighting. It makes our job easy to work with such a wonderful couple such as Joanna and Jay. They were a lot of fun to work with and willing to try just about anything. Here are a few of our favorites.
