Brittany and Sam - Engagement Session - Crystal River

Ok.. We are finally starting to catch up on blogging our recent work. We are about 2 1/2 weeks behind at the moment. More to come this week :)

Brittany and Sam did their engagement session with us back in January. They had the worst luck when it came to actually doing their session. Originally they planned it for the week before in Cedar Key, but it was freezing that weekend, so they decided to postpone it. We rescheduled the session for the following Saturday, but lo and behold... it was raining. They were a little frustrated at this point since they drove about 6 hours to get there and didn't want to leave without doing the session, so we decided to do it at 10 the following day in Crystal River.. not exactly the best time to do pictures, but you gotta do what you gotta do :)

The weather on Sunday was just about perfect (a little windy) and the session was a blast. Thanks guys for your patience in getting the session done. Can't wait for the wedding in September!!

Alison and Jared's Wedding- Thomas Center - Gainesville Wedding Photographer

Alison and Jared picked the perfect day to get married at the Thomas Center in Gainesville. If they had gotten married the weekend before... the temperature would have been in the mid 30's, which is a little cold for an outdoor wedding. However, on this day, it was in the mid 60's with overcast skies, which is perfect light for photographers :)

Here are a few from their wedding day.

Shay and Chris - Engagement Session - UF - Gainesville Wedding Photographer

Anyone remember all the talk about Global Warming?? I surely remember it and a few weeks ago, I was wondering if it was really a problem. It snowed at our house and studio and was hanging in the mid-30s for about a week and a half. Shay and Chris decided to brave the cold and do their engagement session anyway. They happened to pick the warmest day of the week, so it was only 45 degrees instead of the 30s we had been having. So we headed up to UF to spend a little time with them and do their engagement session. It was a little bit on the cold side, but the images are awesome!!! Besides, they are getting married in December, so they better get used to the cold :)

Amber and Stephen Engagement - Kanapaha Botanical Gardens - Gainesville Wedding Photographers

We recently photographed Amber and Stephen for their engagement session. The session took place at the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens in Gainesville. We have been there before and the second time around doesn't disappoint. The place is amazing... It also helps to have amazing clients that are easy to work with. We look forward to photographing their wedding in February, but until then, here are a few from the session.
